Running both guided and self-guided boat trips along the Hillsborough River, Canoe Escape has fun outdoor recreational possibilities for guests of all ages. These tours pass through the 16,000 acre Wilderness Park, a wildlife preserve that affords many opportunities to catch glimpses of wildlife and unique native plants. Canoe trips range from two-hour self-guided trips to six-hour ventures, as well as the popular three-hour interpretive trip, run by an experienced guide who will point out various features along the trip. All trips depart from the company's headquarters, which are positioned about 14 miles northeast of downtown Tampa.
